Yomechas Federation
" FRIENDS FOREVER "
The Yomechas federation is broken up into Eight Nations, consisting of approximately 62 different Tribes, and has over 1600 members. There is a program for any combination of parent and child (Moms or Dads with their sons or daughters) from ages 3 to 10 and older. The program year starts in June but activities begin and end with the school year.

Tribe meetings are held in a Tribe member's home, or a specified location, where stories, songs, games and crafts are part of your shared experiences. A "Tribe" consist of about 10 parent-child teams.
Members also participate in monthly activities sponsored by the Federation. Activities include: pumpkin hunt, roller skating, canoe on wheels, kite flying, 4th of July and Santa parades, bumper bowling, Museum Sleep Over, Wolves Game, as well as indoor soccer or floor hockey.
Sleep on bunk beds inside cabins and eat meals prepared by the staff at several YMCA run campgrounds. These arrangements allow you to spend more time with your child. Horseback riding, archery, canoeing, swimming, climbing tower, hiking, fishing, sledding, ice-skating are just a few of the things you can do with your child to help them grow in knowledge and self-esteem.
